Grenada Hospitals Assistance Fund formally known as The Organization for Grenada, Carriacou & Petit Martinique Hospital Building Fund, was established in November 1993, with the distinct purpose of raising funds to assist in the improvement of the delivery of health care in Grenada, Carriacou & Petit Martinique.

 

The organization is operated by an elective body consisting of a President, Vice President, Public Relations Officer, Secretary, Treasurer (2 trustees) and 1 Floor Member. An executive body is elected for a term of 3 years and memberships are $5.00 a month or $60.00 per year. Please be prepared to contribute 4 hours of your time to the organization, assisting with operations and or attending monthly meetings.

 

We are a federally registered as a charity with the health sector of Grenada, Carriacou and Petit Martinique being the donor recipient. 100% of all funds raised are used to achieve our goal, to assist in the improvement of the delivery of health care in Grenada, Carriacou and Petit Martinique. All funds raised in Canada must be spend in Canada, cash cannot be sent outside of the country.

 

Our fundraising resources consist of both member and community support and the generosity of business donations. We also host  3 annual fund-raising events:

  • Our Annual Brunch  in June

  • Our Annual Picnic in July

  • Our Annual Dinner & Dance in November
